Man, I am blown away by the support of such amazing friends and family members! Every single one of you has been such an encouragement in my life and I want to thank you for that. I hope that, through the next few months, this blog will serve to provide updates on the latest happenings in my life and the work that God will be doing throughout the summer.
With project only 65 days away, the preparation process is fully underway. As I send out support letters, scavenger outdoor stores and online sites for gear, and attempt to figure out the best way to transport myself 3,460 miles from my home in Plano, TX to the University of Alaska in Juneau, it is exciting to see God provide. Even now, there are many ways that you can be praying for me and for this upcoming summer:
FOR ALASKA:
- Preparation of my heart and those of the other 8 girls to share Christ through the way that we live and the words that we speak.
- Preparation of hearts that are without Christ.
- Travel safety
- Financial Support
- Ability to stay focused and motivated for the rest of the school semester.
- Spencer and Christa, as they are less than two months away from getting married!
